Dear Educators,
I would like to invite you to the Community Day School Network (CDS Network) State Conference. The annual CDS Network conference will be held in Fresno, California, January 11-13, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.
Presenters at the conference include State and National educational leaders, as well as, district and county office personnel who are considered to be experts in educational options and alternative education. Additional presenters include educational attorneys and law enforcement representatives whose expertise extends beyond the classroom and principal’s office.
Networking opportunities will be provided throughout the conference. You will make lasting connections with your peers throughout the state. Attendees, participants, and presenters represent all professional roles from school sites, counseling and support services, central office administration, school boards, probation, and community stakeholders. Participants come from all geographical areas of California and district sizes. Attendees consistently rate this conference as, “the best conference they have attended.”
Due to our reputation for quality content, affordability, and convenient location, the CDS Network conferences consistently sell out. This year will be no different as registration is limited to the first 220 applicants.
Personnel who attend this conference will return to their sites with proven strategies that will benefit their district. If you work with at-risk/at-promise students or supervise staff who work with at-risk/at-promise students then this conference is a must. A registration form and conference flyer have been attached for your convenience. Space is limited so please register early. If you have any questions regarding this conference please email me at dfreitas@chs.cusd.claremont.edu.
Sincerely,
Devon Freitas
State President, CDS Network
